Crisis in the Sky on Y&R

Sharon is saved in the Nick of time this week on The Young and the Restless when her heroic hubby rescues her from Cameron's clutches.

The climactic scenes take place 30,000 feet in the sky. "Nick sneaks onto the airplane," sets up Joshua Morrow (Nick). "He runs around the airport trying to find the plane. He finally locates it and they're taking off, but Nick goes in through a little side door and is hanging out in the back, until he hears Sharon screaming."

That's when he springs into action and reveals himself to his wife.

He's like, 'Chill. I'm here. I'm going to save the day,'" previews Morrow. Nick's plan is to take over the plane and try to land it, but Cameron's hit man, Gabe is in his way. Plan B: Parachutes. "This is the last resort," says Morrow, "but it seems to me it's our only option.'"

Indeed. During a slugfest with Cameron, Nick knocks him out. Since they need Cameron alive to clear Sharon of Frank Barritt's murder, Sharon and Nick shove Cameron into a parachute and push him out of the plane.

"Then Sharon and Nick put on on, too, and...bombs away!" says Morrow.

Little does Nick know that down below, Sharon's name is already being cleared: Grace confesses everything to Det. Weber.
