LINDEN ASHBY - HERE COMES THE GROOM

For the most part, Linden Ashby never has any major problems delivering his lines. However when it came time to recite some very important words - his marriage proposal to co-star Susan Walters, Linden (Curtis) was all tongue-tied. "I did it feebly, definitely feebly," admits the nervous bridegroom. "I was terrible at it, I probably did it in ten different stages," he continues. "You know, it was kind of hint, hint, hint. You kind of feel it out to make sure that she's gonna say yeah before you actually propose."

Linden's proposal must have made some sense, because Susan (Lorna) answered him in the affirmative. That settled, the next task at hand was to find a church, choose the hall and buy the wedding gown. The couple decided to have their ceremony at St. Bartholomew's Church in Manhattan, followed by a reception at the Tower Suite. As for the dress, did Susan have one especially designed for her? "Oh no," says the new Mrs. Ashby. "I went shopping with my mother like any other bride-to-be."
